PRESS: Anton Pinsky to acquire Starbucks cafe chain in Russia
MOSCOW, Jul 7 (PRIME) -- Russian restaurant keeper Anton Pinsky, founder of Pinskiy&Co, is likely to acquire U.S. cafe chain Starbucks’ Russian business, Vedomosti business daily reported on Thursday citing sources.
The deal can be closed in July 20–July 31 and can cover leasing of all Starbucks’ trade areas, but without the right to use the products and the technologies, and an area in the Pushkino Park mall.
Pinsky will rebrand the chain, the source said.
Starbucks closed all its cafes in Russia in March, and decided to leave the market in May.
